Ok so Im trying to soundwhore in Black Ops 3 and every other Call Of Duty,
but my problem is I can never hear enemy footsteps !
Ive had this problem since day one and I still couldn't hear enemy footsteps.
I put the Bass Boost at the very highest so I don't think that's the problem.
Do I need to turn up my Volume super high?
Please let me know if there any solutions to this !

Yeah. Most of the time if you want to hear things it's good to ten up the volume

I keep my volume at a halfway, I still hear footsteps, I have the xo4s not xo4 stealth, but that doesn't matter, same headphones, just the mic is different. Regardless, when I have my chat turned up more than my game volume, I do not hear anything quiet. The bass boost won't/shouldn't do anything to make the footsteps louder, it'll just make your audio sound higher quality. I would just go into a private match with a friend and dick around until you get the right settings/adjustments for footsteps.

Iv had no problems mate.
I always have my volume at max.
