It's not really unlimited special points, u can only do this to upgrade the top row, and if u are majority of the way done it is pointless.

Just a quick update the duplication ammo is a bit tricky, sometimes it will drop stacks sometimes it will drop a single bullet, It can take a long time to do.

Personally i just use it to dupe things like Mini nukes and fusion cores.

even if you have still used it it will still work, basically what happens is, it duplicates the magazine so if you follow the steps above, then you have 2 in your inv drop them both and 1 will give a skill point and 1 will not, repeat the steps above untill you have maxxed the skills.

i tried this but dog meat never follows my commands and just runs towards me when i tell him to pick up my the book, Very annoying. I managed to dupe the books once but when i dropped both of them one disappeared. what im i doing wrong?

If you stand to close to it when u tell him to pick it up he will either stand still or run around all dumb. Wait till he starts walking toward the book and that's when u come up.

Which items would you guys duplicate?

I have managed to dupe many many magazines just a couple hours ago so that part still works, although when you actually pick up the magazine you do not get the perks you do when you first get it. All you get is another magazine.

it does only work with the SPECIAL magazine, not with the others that add bonus etc,

a slight tip for duping.

First command the dog to move a distance away, then step a few steps back, crouch so you can see the dog approaching and command him to get the magazine, as he starts to approach move forward so that you can see the TAKE SPECIAL is there on screen, the dog will 90% of the time stop running and start walking then take a brief pause before bowing its head to pick it up as he bows his head pick up the mag, drop both from inv and 1 of them will give a special point, but you can only do this till your special points are all at 10 not above.

I can confirm that it is not patched.
Keep in mind, I doubt that Bethesda will patch any of these as they are implementing user friendly mods directly into the game soon, so what is the point? They don't care if you mod/glitch the game.
