I think you guys are blowing this way out of proportion here. Step back a second and look beyond a group killing people. What is their goal? Back in June, they said they want to establish a new Islamic caliphate across the Middle East. Basically, it's the idea of an enormous Islamic state that encompasses all Muslims worldwide, besides Shia Muslims. All they are trying to do is overthrow the existing governments of unstable, heavily Muslim nations and establish their own theocratic state in its place.

What I think is hilarious is that we are still calling them ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), when in June they changed their name to IS (Islamic State) after establishing clear goals.

Although what they are doing is wrong, it is none of our business until and unless it becomes our business. We have no reason to go over there. We will get nothing out of it besides looking like "the good guys", and killing our kids. I can almost guarantee you that if we get into another war with them this country is gone. We can't financially afford another war, just look at what the last one did to us.

No country is with ISIS. There is no way there could be a WW3 with just ISIS involved.

They kill plenty of our innocent people, why not return the favour? If we let ISIS continue to grow, eventually they will kill possibly millions, and become unstoppable. Would you rather go ahead and destroy ISIS before we can't? What you are telling me is you would rather ISIS and potential ISIS followers/supporters live than possible millions of innocent people. I say we get rid of the parasite before it mutates into something the world cannot defeat.

By that logic, all the soldiers in the Middle East should come over to the US and kill a bunch of innocent people here to return the favor. The US has killed more innocent people than they have.

I think there is going to be something happening but not WW3.
