Hi guys, just built my first ever build and spent a lot of money on it

specs :

I7 5620K
32GB AVEXIR CORE WHITE RAM
GTX 980 SLI

With these specs i'm getting 42 fps on gta v ad medium settings and 2x msaa

on fallout 4 i'm getting dips into the 20's on high settings

on skyrim getting an average of 42 fps on ultra...

not being big headed but surely my rig should run games better?....

what have i done wrong :[

most likely drivers and you may not have sli enabled or could even be thermal throttling.

Check temps and to see if SLI is enabled.

This is what happens when you build a PC and you don't know what you are doing. 10/10 rekt.

Most likely a driver issue, make sure you are using nvidia's latest drivers. You can search for your associated driver here.

You are just being ignorant by thinking that. Building a computer takes little knowledge to do. And even if you did have a problem then you could just watch a vido.
