Beijing Vows Justice After Chinese Citizen Killed By ISIS

Reuters wrote China vowed on Thursday to bring to justice those responsible for killing one of its citizens after Islamic State said it had executed a Chinese captive, the only known Chinese hostage to have been held by the group.

In a brief statement, China's Foreign Ministry confirmed the man's identify for the first time, naming him as Fan Jinghui, saying he had been "cruelly murdered". It said in September one of its citizens appeared to be in Islamic State captivity.

Beijing had activated an emergency mechanism to try to rescue him, but he was killed nevertheless in a "cold-blooded way", the ministry said. It gave no details on how they might have captured him.

"The Chinese government strongly condemns this savage act devoid of humanity and will certainly bring the criminals to justice," the statement said.

"The Chinese government will resolutely oppose all forms of terrorism and resolutely strike at any violent terrorist criminal activities that defy the bottom lines of human culture," it added, noting Beijing would strengthen anti-terrorism cooperation with the international community.

One of the Paris gun men had told his mate he went too far with the shootings.

He is now believed to be on the run from Police and ISIS, he said he would hand himself in but he doesn't want his family getting hurt, he urged his brother to step away from Isis and not make the same mistake he did.

His brother has also urged him to just plead guilty and hand yourself in, as you are running from ISIS and the police one of them will get you eventually. He also said he was meant to bomb a French city on Friday the 13th but didn't carry through with ISIS plans as he started to go on the run from them.

A 19 year old has been arrested as his home was raided by police as they found C4 and he was the guy who made the explosive vests, 19 YEARS OLD WTF!!

Syria air strikes: MPs authorise UK action against Islamic State

MPs have voted by 397 to 223 to authorise UK air strikes against so-called Islamic State in Syria.
Prime Minister David Cameron argued in a Commons debate that action against the "medieval monsters" of IS was legal and would "keep our country safe".
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said the case for war "does not stack up" - but his party was split, with senior Labour figures voting with the government after the 10-hour debate.

RAF bombing raids could begin soon.

German Parliament Approves Military Campaign Against IS In Syria

Reuters wrote Germany's lower house of parliament on Friday approved government plans to join the military campaign against Islamic State in Syria.

Of the 598 lawmakers who took part in the vote, 445 voted for, 146 against and seven abstained.

The mission will include sending six Tornado reconnaissance jets, a frigate to help protect the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, refueling aircraft and up to 1,200 military personnel. Germany will not join countries like Britain, France, the United States and Russia in conducting airstrikes.

Islamic State are now operating within Afghanistan

Isis spreads to Afghanistan as 1,600 militants pledge allegiance to terror group.

Group's surge is thought to have been facilitated by a splintered Taliban and the withdrawal of Western troops.

The terror group is said to have captured four districts south of Jalalabad as part of their drive to establish a new province for their self-styled caliphate. The Times reports that up to 1,600 fighters are involved with the surge, which is driven by Isis regional affiliate, Wilayat Khorasan.

The Afghan army are reportedly struggling to contain the threat amid heavy personnel losses and daily battle; with up to 500 personnel deaths per month.

A spokesperson for the Pentagon said that the US government is aware of the groups growing presence in Afghanistan, telling The Times: "We are aware of the presence of Isil-affiliated militants in Afghanistan, and we are monitoring closely to see whether their emergence will have a meaningful impact on the threat environment in the region."

In my honest opinion, I don't believe this retaliation from other countries is making anything better. An innocent civilian is an innocent civilian, no matter where they are from. You don't justify terrorism with more terrorism. I have seen videos of airstrikes landing near schools where Syrian children are at risk, yeah they might be taking ISIS out the equation, but still. Nobody knows which country is bombing near schools etc but it's a pretty bad idea

The world is kind of biased in a sense that, because they are being attacked, they will go and do the same thing Syria, to them, we are essentially terrorists by killing civilians.

Will this come to an end? Yes, eventually but I think countries need to be a little more careful and not bomb the shit out of everywhere.

Syria conflict: Coalition denies air strike on army camp

The Syrian government has said three of its soldiers have been killed in a US-led coalition air strike, but the coalition has denied responsibility.

The Syrian foreign ministry said four coalition warplanes fired nine missiles at the camp in Deir al-Zour province on Sunday evening, killing three soldiers and wounding 13 others.

However, a coalition spokesman insisted that its forces had carried out no strikes in the area near the camp.

Three armoured vehicles, four military vehicles, heavy machine-guns and an arms and ammunition depot were destroyed, it added.
The ministry did not say which camp was hit, but the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights earlier reported that coalition jets had bombed part of the Saeqa camp, near the town of Ayyash in northern Deir al-Zour.

"The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemns this flagrant aggression by the US-led coalition forces, which blatantly violates the objectives of the UN Charter," the foreign ministry warned.

We can talk about anything Syria related on this topic right? Just watched an interview of Syrian president Assad. It's around 30 minutes long but it's an interesting watch. Has it changed your opinion on the mad, mass murdering dictator who lies to kill his own people?

My thoughts:
As someone from England, I find myself agreeing with every point Assad made in this interview. The western media like the BBC never shows these interviews, we're always given the view that he is a brutal mass murdering dictator that must go. I like to look at things from both sides, and the interviews I've watched by Assad tell me that he is very rational and knows what he's on about. I mean he says himself in this interview that he doesn't have to stay after the war, if the people don't want him to, but the media here never tell us that, they just say he refuses to step down. I think it's a disgrace that all these peace talks are going on without the leader of Syria himself.
