The Republicans wan't the government to be as small as possible. Now, do I think that is a good idea for today's America? No, I do not.
Here's why:
When you have millions and millions of people it's going to pretty hard to make sure that someone is committing crimes. You need a government there to make sure that everything is in order and that the least amount of people are doing illegal activities. When you have gigantic corporations that basically own our country we need to break them up through government. If we don't then our country will turn into a monopoly. These corporations will cut all the corners they can, thanks to the lack of regulations that the Republicans would grant them, and will end up becoming very, very influential. But, it's to late for that fear manifest. That has already happened. That is no longer a conspiracy.
Today the food industry gets away with the most disgusting treatment of animals! Don't believe me? Go onto Netflix and watch the documentary Food INC. These corporations get away with what they do because they essentially have more power THAN THE GOVERNMENT!
The fruits and vegetables that you buy from Walmart are picked by SLAVES. These corporations that supply us with our foods "hire" illegal immigrants to do their work. Paying them wages that you couldn't even believe. And this is happening in our own country! Don't believe me? Look it up!
The list goes on and on but the very core of it remains the same across board!
All of the candidates, which the least is being accepted by Bernie Sanders (he is against them), receive what are called SuperPacs.
SupperPacs are money that are doing to a candidates political campaign. You might think well, what's wrong with that?
The issue is that you can donate an unlimited amount. I can donate billions of dollars to Hilary Clinton. But, on the side, she low key has to do me a favor.
America has become an Oligarchy and it is time that we retake our Democracy.
Please, for the love of your country do not vote Republican.

Donald Trump isn't accepting money from any Super PACs either.

Donald Trump does take money from Super PACs. He takes from the 'Make America Great Again' PAC.
When his campaign manager was questioned on this he said that they would sue any media corporation who wrote, 'unflattering' articles about it.
Bernie Sanders is relying almost solely on individual donations, of which he has now had over 1 million and almost raised as much as Hillary Clinton did in the first quarter, despite the fact that she openly accepts money from Super PACs.

I don't even like defending Trump, but I am going to have to play devils advocate here.
Is there another source on this?
The Washington Post is notorious for their liberal bias. Any investigative journalism from them deserves to be questioned.

"Liberal bias"
Ever watched Fox News?
Every source is going to have a bias because every person on this Earth does. Otherwise, we wouldn't have opinions.

Yes, liberal bias.
Fox News is completely irrelevant to our conversation.
There are still credible media outlets available.
That article is from 2 months before Trump started refusing Super PACs money.

I honestly would have preferred B/O To stay, but it's not where I live so it doesn't matter to much to me.

I suppose there are a few that would be credible. It's unfortunate that there aren't many.
It would appear that he has shut down the Super Pacs.
