Does anyone know if you can take the hdmi port out of one xbox and put it into a different xbox?
I was just wondering as i have 2 xboxs and both have something wrong one has a dodgy hdmi which means it won't show onto the tv (Not tv i've tried the other xbox and it worked) and the other has a broken disc tray.
So i was thinking to take the hdmi port thing from inside the one with the broken disc tray and replace the one with the broken hdmi.
Is this possible?

Yeah it will work but it can be a little hard to remove the HDMI port.
And obviously you will need to be good at soldering.
It would probably easier to just fix the disk drive in the other console.
Or if the AV port still works on the console with the bad HDMI, You could just get a HD component cable which still outputs at 1080p so its only the same as HDMI.

its not as easy as you think it would be , takes alot of time and patience with out tearing a trace and to be able to resolder the new one in and make sure all the connections are good
