Is the monitor even on the correct channel? If you're using VGA/DVI, or whatever, and have an HDMI input on your monitor as well, you may have the monitor set to HDMI instead, would explain the no picture. If your system is booting up, and all the fans are spinning up but you're just not seeing anything, it's unlikely the CPU is to blame. Shame you never listened to any of the help we gave you, you probably wouldn't be having these issues if you did.

Also, if your friend built the exact same system, it's going to be extremely easy to identify dead components, if you have any.

If its a pc monitor there should be no need to change channel etc, should just pick up the input, however if op is using a tv that may well be the issue.

We need more information/pictures if we have any chance of helping you further

That's not true. Monitors can have different channels as well.

I need to see it connected and wired, a picture of half the GPU out of the case wont help either of us,

Just to clear something up, please please please don't tell me you connected the GPU power but didnt actually have it connected into a PCI-E slot on the mobo?

None. The reason your rig isn't working, is because it's not assembled. Unless you took the GPU out of your rig, just to photograph it for us? In which case, you've done the exact opposite of what was asked. You're really not giving us anything to work with here.

Connect your GPU as it was before you took it out, and give us pictures of it like that..

Guys who are more experienced, stop rinsing him. He's just new to the whole thing and looked at a random gamer build theirs.

Everyone starts somewhere :/
