Hey guys I'm looking at upping to a newer monitor which would also mean changing to a bigger and better resolution. I am currently looking at the Acer X34 Predator 3440x1440 ( I think) or going to Asus ROG 27" 4K ( soon to be released) but am extremely stuck between the two. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Would help to know what your current monitor(s) are, and your current specs(as mentioned above). We'll need to know your budget and currency to help. It'd also be useful if we knew what you typically use your rig for. Ultrawide's can be v nice for editing rigs, or for movies but if you're gaming, I'd stick to a 2/4k panel and add more if needed/wanted.

Hi there I currently use my Sony KDL40R473A Tv to game on. I have a GTX 980 but I am thinking of going tri sli or 2x 980ti as I could easily sell my card and gain a fair amount of what I paid for it back. I Will use it for gaming, editing/ streaming and watching movies (depending on the size) I could go with the monitors or pick up a 4ktv to replace my beloved sony 40" 1080p

It would definitely be better to SLI two 980 Ti's than 3 980's, they would most likely have lots of scaling issues and the performance wouldn't be enjoyable at all. Something like a P2715Q would be the best you can get providing you can finance it.
