So I'm not sure if this is allowed or in the right section but I feel like talking about this.

So one of my goals in life is to become a Personal Trainer and help people with their lives, but I've a Chronic disease that can sometimes stop me from training and getting to class, which is really annoying as I want to be able to get to train and study without the illness from stopping me, I know there is a if you want it really bad dont use any excuses but with illnesses some times you need to rest etc. For people wondering it is Crohns I have, a form of IBD. Just if anyone else has Crohns and trains, how do you manage to train all the time? Or do you have days off? Thanks for reading and replying to anyone that does

I know how you feel.

I'm 20 years old and have had a clean bill of health for the past 10 years. When I was 10, the doctors found a hole in my heart which was stopping blood flow and other nasty stuff. So they went in and did surgery and I now have a stent in my heart. I've played baseball for some 10 odd years, about 6 of those years where after the surgery. So physical challenges are not a problem for myself. I got out of high school and wanted to join the Coast Guard and was denied because of that surgery. I said okay and I tried other branches and was still denied.

The way I look at is if I am in service and something goes wrong with my stent and it needs to be replaced, whatever branch I am in, will have to fund the surgery to replace it and no branch wants to do that. So that's why they didn't let me in. So with that being said, that goes along with your issue also, so if you're trying to get a job as a personal trainer and they won't give it to you because of your illness, they just don't want to be held responsible if something does go wrong when you're on the job.

A buddy of mine has Crohn's, it's obvious that it gets in the way of a lot but he deals with it fairly well considering.

People will understand, don't let it get in the way my friend.
