Hey guys I am looking to buy a good PC to play games on like Minecraft, maybe FeedTheBeast on Minecraft and possibly GTA but not sure yet.
I don't have alot to spend that's why I came here because I know people can find some great deals.
It must have a Keyboard, mouse and monitor and needs an operating system preferably windows 7 and if possible a really good security software.
I would like to keep it around £300 not too far over and its black Friday so should be some good deals.

Thanks in advance for anything you find

If you can stretch that little more, would help you quite a lot.

Now, I wouldn't normally recommend 6300's anymore as the upgrade options are pretty limited. But for a cheap budget build like this, it fits in perfect. An i3 would have fitted perfect if you was only going to be playing Minecraft and other games like it. But the i3 would struggle if you launched up GTA V.

The R7 360 should hold it's own in games it out performs the 750Ti in most game benchmarks.

PS: You're looking for the R7 265, the R7 360 is technically a re-brand.

For mouse, keep an eye on things. There are going to be loads of flash sales from now, until Monday. Logitech G402, and G502 are guarantee'd to be on sale within the next couple of hours on Amazon, so keep an eye on those. The G402 is only £40, so if that's cheap on sale, grab one, definitely worth it. G402 sale start on Amazon at 5PM today I think, and the G502 starts an hour later.

As for keyboard, you might just have to grab something cheap for now. Look at mech keyboards, with Cherry MX switches. Something like a Quickfire TK/XT. You might see some deals on Cherry MX boards, but they might still be pretty expensive. You should be able to find some cheap mech keyboards on Amazon between now and Monday, you might not find great deals on Cherry MX kb's, but maybe something with Kailh switches. Otherwise, just get any cheap rubber dome keyboard.

OS wise, get a key from G2A or Reddit for ~£25. Do not pay retail price for OS.

I'll leave a suggestion for a £300 rig as well. £300 is just too tight a budget for a decent rig with peripherals. I'd suggest spending £300 on the rig, and buy peripherals outside of the rig budget. If that's not possible though, I can suggest something else.

Tidy little rig. Looking at £400 for rig with monitor, then an extra £100 or so for your keyboard, mouse, and OS. So you'll be spending more like £400-£500, if possible, but it's very much worth it IMO.

If you want a dedicated GPU option;

860k is a freakin' steal rn. GTX 750Ti>R7 360

With the APU(7850k) option, you can add an AMD GPU, like an R7 370 in the future, and tun it in XFire with the APU for better performance. 7850k will easily play MC etc, and will play GTA, but not very well, as it is a AAA title.

Depends what CoD you're playing. With an APU, or a 750Ti, you'll still be able to play AAA titles, you'll just be playing at lowered settings at 1080p, on AAA titles anyway. You might even be better turning the resolution down a bit for higher settings, that's up to you. Again, you'd be able to do photoshop and similar stuff, but it is still a £300 rig you're getting, don't expect it to run fantastically.

The APU(7850k) option is a good 'un, and you can easily add a GPU in the future. The 860k and GTX 750Ti will give you the best performance right now though, so that might be a better option for you, it is a little more expensive though. I wouldn't bother with the R7 360 though. The 750Ti is a similar price, and is just better.

With a 750Ti, you'd be able to play AAA titles like GTA V pretty comfortable at medium settings, 1080p, with stuff like anti aliasing and maybe some other settings turned off, or down a little more. The 7850k should be able to play games like GTA V at low-medium settings. Addind an AMD GPU to the 7850k rig in XFire, like an R7 370 or something, would give you a nice performance increase, and definitely out-perform a 750Ti, so if you got the 7850k rig now, and saved like £100 to add a 370 in the future at some point, that'd be a nice little rig IMO, and the 7850k would do fine for now.

Correct me if I'm wrong ( I could be coz I'm not 100% sure) the R7 360 is just a newer version of the R7 265?

The 265 out performs the 750Ti and the R7 360 is somewhat cheaper. So clearly that would be the better choice?

The R7 370 is supposed to be the better, updated 265. Then again, there was a bunch of confusion aroind the 360 and 370, so I'll need to double check, when I can. I'm pretty sure the 260x was outperforming the 360, so the 750Ti would definitely be better than the 360 in that case.

Otherwise, I've been suggesting 260x's when 360's may have been more applicable.

Meh I'm not sure.

But looking by this video, they look pretty much identicle. Just depends on the game engine used. GTA the 750Ti wins, CoD AW and Assassins Creed the 360 wins.

So I'd say get whatever is cheaper at the time.

The 360 is basically an updated 260. The 370 is an updated 265.

370>265>260x>750Ti>360>260>750

AMD's cards have been getting improved performance through driver updates though, so it's possible that a 360 could out-perform a 750Ti in the future, depending on how well driver updates are. The 750Ti would be better right now though.
