I did some basic term searches here and didn't return any result of anyone else posting this video about RuneScape's History so I thought I'd share.

I'm not sure how long some of you have been playing RuneScape but I jumped in around 08 / 09 and some of this was new to me and cool to learn even though like many I don't play like I use to play it... I also thought how the runescape community had riots, to protest updates, was something cool that I never knew about before.
Anyways hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

The nostalgia is strong with this one. I started playing back in 2005. In my opinion, the glory days were 2006-2008ish.

I used to watch my brother play in like 07 or 08 (Years before the Grand Exchange was implemented) and it was probably the best time. I started playing myself in around 2010 and it was so fun :/ I'm sad they put in EoC.

I agree, i've been playing scape for almost 10 years, my favourite time's where around 2006-2008.

GE was added in August of 2007. GE was a good update, just wish there was more player interaction involved without. Kind of like a Craigslist ad or something. Actually, exactly what the Trading Posts were accomplishing.
