I need to upgrade my CPU also my mobo and RAM if I absolutely need to. My price range is $200-350. I'd really like an i5 processor but I'd have to upgrade my mobo so if theres any AMD CPUs that fit my budget and can get 1080p 60fps with my gpu that would be preferred. If not what Mobo should i get with an i5?
Specs:
Case: Cougar Solution Black
Motherboard: ASUS M5a97 r 2.0
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955
GPU: Sapphire Nitro r9 390
RAM: x3 4gb Kingston HyperX Fury
PSU: Kingston ABT-650mm(will be getting EVGA 750G2)
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
I really need the help I've been googling for countless hours and cant seem to find anything. Thanks for the help in advance.

so you have 12gb of RAM? Correct? 3x 4gb?
That's correct. Sorry for my weird wording. Wouldn't I also need a new CPU cooler?
It should come with a stock one, although you do have enough in the budget for one.

Should be. RAM is RAM. Could also add another 390 in XFire.

I'll prob do that sometime next year. Though I've heard its better just to upgrade to an higher tier card rather than get another card.

Don't get a 750G2. Just spend the extra for an 850G2. 850G2 gives you room for XFire 390's. 750G2 is a bit too tight for XFire 390's. 2 x 390's would out-perform a single 980Ti, but the 980Ti is a better choice if you can afford it, instead of adding a 2nd 390.
