Right so I'm getting back into gaming and have an Xbox one and just purchased a 24 inch monitor I want to play on, this monitor does not have built in speakers and obviously I want sound to be able to come out, I also have a headset, I just need like mini list so I can purchase what I need off eBay or Amazon. I'm not very good with these things so just need to be told exactly what it is I need haha cheers in advance

Could you post a link to the monitor you bought?

To get sound from the monitor you will just have to plug in some speakers. That monitor has a 3.5mm jack, so get some speakers that also have a 3.5mm jack, plug it into the monitor and then you're set.

Xbox uses audio over HDMI so that you should be fine.
