Can anyone suggest a rough estimate of what amount I would need to put into a computer to play games on mid-high or stable on high graphics? Currency Is EURO | Live In Ireland

Could you guys please also leave a build of what parts to put in at that price range you feel is needed. My max would be like 500 but if can be cheaper anywhere with same power I would take that.

Dont Need: Monitor|Keyboard|Mouse

EDIT: Also already have DDR3 4GB RAM so can add that if its able to.

What exact 4GB RAM stick do you have? And a build at 500EUR is around ~£350 so you won't be playing any demanding games as high settings.

4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 797MHz (11-11-12-30) <----- Speccy Results. I dont play the likes of GTA or Black Ops. Mid settings is fine though

Can you find your exact RAM online? Using different sticks can certainly work but can look bad and could have some issues

No, you just spend what you can.

I'm gonna stop you right here, because I personally feel like you should spend as much as you can on your rig, unless you don't need to. It's what I'd do, and it's what I suggest so for 500e, I'd get this;

from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

Assuming you can get an OS for free. If you can't go over budget, get a cheaper motherboard. Add your other stick of 4GB RAM, it should be fine but if not, you'll want to buy another 4GB stick of the Kingston RAM to add to the rig.

Add an SSD at some point, when and if you can. Also, an aftermarket cooler would be a good shout, will look nicer, run quieter, perform better, and allow you to OC that 860k.
