So I have a LG G Stylo and I do not have the remote app that should come with the phone. I know this because I happen to have a friend with the same phone. Could this app come only on phones that are carrier based or just a defective phone?

The Peel Remote app is one of the better ones out there, it came pre-installed on my GS6 edge and HTC One M8.
