It may sound sad but ive actually learnt so much stuff off this site.
Edit: btw i do agree with your some of your points but why do people always focus on the negatives.
I joined this site back in 2009, under a different alias of course. But, I would agree with you to some degree on improvement. There have been many changes since when I first joined, I remember the clunky look of the forums, and the overall spam that once was ever so evident. However, I'm not sure how it's improved as a whole. I came back to this site after a year long hiatus, and every day that I come back on this site I have to ask myself, "why am I here", "what am I going to post about", or "I bet you anything there's a console fanboy on the pc forums again ranting". Those are my first and only thoughts when I first log in. Back in the day, I used to think "I kinda feel like making some new friends, I'm gonna run a Zombies lobby!", "I can't wait to see what's gonna happen during Shouterday today!!", or "I'm gonna go learn something in the forums today". I mean, the reason why I joined this site, is totally different from the current. There honestly is no reason for me to return to this site everyday like I try to do currently. If you can provide some reason as to why there's still something to look forward to signing in everyday then I can rest easy. But, until then I just can't figure it out.

But this is still possible people in the Black ops 3 section for example are always teaming up it.
I meant a different kind of zombies lobby lol. I used to run modded lobbies back in the day, and I met a LOT of fantastic people on this through giving out free zombies lobbies, sure most people just leeched and left, but there were still plenty of golden nuggets in the sand pile.
But did you really think WaW zombie lobbies would still be massive 7 years after release?

I'll probably come and check in, in the late future. But, I'm kind of sad myself to have to say goodbye to my once favorite site. Hopefully upon my return you'll still be here and be making waves. Nice knowing you (:

I never said that lol! But, it is still one of the top 100 games still played on Steam to this day. So, imo it is doing pretty well for it's age. I actually still do mods on PC if you have a PC and WaW if you want to come hang out sometime (:

I to be honest have thought about this for a while, but I have only been here a year, but it has gotten a lot worse over the span of my year here. I personally some staff that are in their postitions shouldn't be there, as they never actually "moderate". And yet they are defended by other staff that they are busy and don't have time, well, I mean, demote the undeserving individual and promote another actually helpful user. I hate to say this, but Se7enSins is the best forum when it comes to this. Like actually give some hope for members to know they actually have a chance at being a staff member, as that is what the "top of the chain" is in a forum, and with more promotions, it gives members a change, some excitement. When I seen the sectional moderators promoted, the first thing I thought was "Maybe the site will change, and give members like myself a chance". This in my opinion is unfair to members deserving, and I can name a few undeserving AND deserving members.
I'm going to stop before I screw up and say something to bad, but I do 100% agree with you bud, and I may leave, and only check the site until v5 comes out. Anyways, great post bud.

About the third paragraph, there have been multiple times where I've seen a "well respected" member just bash on users and be praised for it. But if a lower member does the exact same, they would be downvoted to oblivion. Forum is just filled with hypocrites and brown noses.
But who am I to complain? I rarely post anymore and I use this site as a source for news.

I'm glad you agree, and sure promotions would be a nice little incentive for some users that are deserving. However, I disagree that you even mentioned Se7ensins xD I as well as many other OG TTG users can agree, that site has been our rival since the stone age of this site lol. I chose to be loyal to TTG and have never set foot on Se7ensins again.

There are 1.8 million members, and ~60 staff members, which is a 0.00333% ratio. Of course not all helpful and active members can hold a staff position. Our staff team does our best to help members, but TTG isn't our top priority in life, especially with some of us (including me) being in College or a variant of school and around this time of year is finals week, etc. A staff member not being able to get back to you with a problem doesn't mean that they are ignoring you, most of the time it is because we have prior commitments that keep us from constantly doing our TTG duties.
There can be a lot going on in people's lives that you are unaware of, so before making assumptions about someones commitment or responsibility, consider that they don't have the same schedule that you may have.
If anyone from this thread needs any help or has questions/concerns/suggestions, please send them to me or another staff member in a PM, as I probably won't be replying on this thread again, *1ninja1*

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I am sorry that you feel this way Geekwad. I will admit that over the 5 years I have been here, it has changed. In terms of modding, it was almost the focus of the site back then. Things do change over years, and I feel that shifting the focus away from modding and moving towards more of the console and pc gaming is for the better.
As for your staff issue, if you have a problem, feel free to raise it to the Administration. We will try our best to look into your issue. This doesn't go for just you, this is for everyone. If you have an issue, then PM one of us and let us know.
Honestly, if you were in our position, it really isn't that easy. I agree, there are TONS of helpful users in our community, but we simply cannot promote just anyone. There is a level of trust that needs to be achieved.
