So since I canceled my order earlier today for my GTX 970 because I just got a huge vacation pay that I totally forgot about. I was looking at the 980Ti's I'm interested in 2 of them and I can't decide which one to choose. I think the ASUS is better but I saw the MSI and its cheaper but probably not worth to spend the extra money to get the ASUS if they are basically the same (I don't know if I'm right). Below is my system build if any of you need to know. I don't have a budget, I just want to know what card is better between these two. Thanks!

The Twin Frozr (MSI) coolers are very good, I had both the MSI 390, 970, and quite a few of the other PC nerds have MSI cards. I would definitely get that one as it looks smexy also.

Personally, Id get the MSI Twin Frozr 5 because I prefer the cooler.

However, they will all perform similarly so get the one you prefer the looks of or that's cheapest.

I would recommend the MSI because it's cheaper. Both are technically the same, just different coolers and different clock speeds. You can overclock MSI to the ASUS clock speed.

Just get whichever cooler you prefer the look of and can afford. They'll all perform fairly similarly anyway.

Just would like to point this out to you.
Amazon is selling the MSI 980ti for $650 not $900

I'd go with the Asus. If EVGA was an option I'd go with them

dont know if anyone checked his specs but you're definitely going to need a psu upgrade but also, why would you buy a card that is more expensive alone than your entire system is? you should probably just upgrade the entire system instead of putting all of your money into a new card
