Using the product key from your old computer should work as long as your old computer didn't have the OEM license of windows. I used my key from my old computer and it activated just fine on my new one.

Assuming that your old system is still working, right-click My Computer and select Properties. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and find the Product ID.

The Product ID should be in the form xxxxx-xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx. What are the 3 characters in the second group (if those 3 characters are OEM, then you have an OEM version).

Although now that I look at it my code says OEM, but it still activated just fine on my new system. Just give it a try and see if it validates your key.

Take your product key from your old pc and try it on your new one.

No problem bud, it should work just fine for you then.

Download the media creation tool and make a bootable usb drive to install windows 10 and then just enter your product key from your old computer.

You could pirate it or use g2a
