Try a Dust Cleaner to use into the Xbox.
A lot of bust probably got inside
You can't fix it, the reader is plastic with S, not metal like OG and Elite. Referb it with microsoft.

dont have one and i tried that already ill look for some more but thonking about referbing it

Pretty sure you'll be able to order a replacement dvd drive or send it in to Microsoft or someone who does repairs and they'll fix it up. I had an issue with my slim one year after it was released, being the idiot that I am, I took it apart when I had a warranty for a replacement.
