Project for Graphic design class

So this was a project i had to do recently for a design class, the objective was to make an old ad and kinda put your own twist on it. So what i did was an iMac ad. Please Rate it out of 10, Keep in mind i had to keep it simplistic.

Doesn't look like you've learned much out of this "graphic design class".
There is zero shading.
Apple would never use this for a advertisement just saying.

Well, considering you are new and still learning, it is not bad. However, you still have a lot to learn. There isn't any depth or shading to it, (I assume this is partially because it is so minimalistic) the border on the left side is larger than the other borders, ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) and lastly this isn't the type of design that I would see Apple using, it is far too simple and I think that the simplicity actually hurts the design in this case.
However, again, not bad for your first class design. Just continue to learn and perfect your skill set.
EDIT:
There are also some issues with grammar related things and your alignment of text and the Mac is also off.
