So I'm 16 years old and I finished school in July and now I'm currently going to College but I have a lot more spare time now and my girl friend lives around 100 miles away and I would like to see her more often and it costs around £15 for me to get to where she lives. So I'm just looking for a job or anyway to make money does anyone have any idea of what sort of job I could get? Or what I could do to make some money each week?

You could look at your local pubs/bars to see if they might need a waiter or a cleaner of some sort. Maybe try a sports shop local to you, you could get any job you want, man. You just have to put the effort in and look around, check online for shops near you to see if they're hiring.

Local grocery store. I am 16 and I work at my local Stop and Shop pulling carts, bottle room, and bagging.

Mcdonalds lol I know it isn't much but I do believe they hire at 15 in the US in my state it might be the same for you where you live but IDK. Just google where you live and hiring jobs and you should be able to find a decent amount of stuff. If you go anyplace that has hardware stuff or guns. Such as in the US we have home depot and a few others and for guns like a hunting store they won't hire you until your 18 because for the weapons and heavy equipment. So keep that in mind if that was something your interested in. Hope you find what your looking for best of luck.

Ask your local hardware stores, shops, sports stores etc if there hiring just keep trying and make sure you have a good attitude and the only problem is that seeing as your at college you wont be able to work full time and theres so many people that want weekend jobs you might struggle getting shifts but just put effort in and youll get a job.

Wash cars, cut grass, shovel snow

I know when I was your age I would go around and clean out gutters, mow the grass, shovel the driveway.
I'm sure their is a few things you can do.

Get on Craigslist and look for jobs. You might be putting up Christmas lights, you might be mowing a lawn, you might be helping a company unload a semi truck, you never know.
