C4s wroteWell if you have ADHD you should definitely be aloud to use it lol.As most of you know Adderall is a drug that helps a person stay focused.
Over the past couple of months i have seen a couple articles talking about adderall being used in the eSports community and how some players feel it is unfair to them.
Do you guys think it should be banned or is it not that big of a deal?

It's basically like
WhyPhy from 22 Jump Street .
It's pointless in my opinion ,
Don't know why people need it anyways .

For performance enhancing purposes, it should probably be banned. Yet i couldn't ever see this happening.
Banning adderall wouldn't be ethically correct for people that need to use it (with actual ADHD). And i know first hand how easy it is to be diagnosed with ADHD with the right doctor.

No, Adderall shouldn't be banned from eSports.
It gives them a mind advantage. Unlike other sports a Physical advantage.
What would you do about people that take adderall on a regular basis. Do they have to stop?
And what about other forms adderall isn't the only type? Would they ban all of those too?
I don't see the huge advantage gamers get while taking it.
It doesn't give you super aim or super strength it just helps you focus. Is it not allowed to focus?

Yes obviously. This isn't a physical game it's a mental and taking a performance enhancing drug in this situation shouldn't be allowed.

They should start having checkpoints at the events.
I dont think its fair at all for one person to use adderall and another doesnt. its an unfair advantage.

It should be allowed because then they focus on winning and not getting distracted by the crowd because a slight loss of focus could loss you the game

Yea, it should be banned. Other than your skill, you should not be able to have any advantage over another player. If you can't concentrate on your own in a competition, then you just don't have that skill. Either get it or leave.

I don't see adderall as a huge problem.
Concentration levels don't increase the skill level of the player.
That would be the same equivalent as saying someone who got a full nights sleep before a game event shouldn't be allowed to play because someone else only got a few hours.
The drug helps you concentrate, sure. It doesn't affect how good you are at the game though.
