He asked to rev it and he did rev it.. Regardless of being able to drive yet..
I don't understand why it would be obvious that he hasn't driven a car based on the way he revs it. Oh well.

is there really a wrong way to rev a car? besides sitting on the limiter? Like you can feather it up or just hold it, I don't think its going to make too much of a difference. Obviously you don't want to do it when you first start it but I don't really see what he did wrong.

For the swap i would personally do a RB26 or a 2jz if i was going to swap.
