This happens on Windows when your RAM quantity is under 4GB...

Windows stores hella files in the RAM all it can be really?

How much have you got currently installed?

DO you have 64-bit Windows? A 32-bit OS will limit you to 4GB of usable RAM.

In the task manager go to the processes tab and sort memory usage and see whats using it.

Take a screenshot of task manager, go to details and sort by what's using the most ram.

Hello i know you said you are getting a new computer but ill still give some advice just in case some thing like this happens again

did you download any thing recently that could be running in the back or how many programs do you have running. if so close some programs that are not needed like utorrent, google chrome, firefox, other games stuff like that may help a little. But if lets say you have 11 programs open that really dont need to be then i would recommend closing then welp good luck with your new computer hope i helped a little
