Hello guys, thought I would spark a nice discussion about dogs here, sorry cat lovers.

I have been looking to buy a dog for quite some time now, but I really want to make the right choice, so my first question would be:

Do I buy a hybrid or pedigree?

In addition, I am looking for a dog that can be trained, relatively intelligent and is a good companion. I will probably exercise with the dog a lot and I first considered a husky for that purpose but just kind of unsure.

What dog do you have, or what breed could you recommend?

To be honest I would go with a lab.

I would get a German Shepard, but I heard training lessons were like $5000 but thats up to you, and for the other questions I don't know.

In my opinion, I would either go for a Husky or a German Shepard.
Both brilliantly behaved dogs, if you put the effort in to train them, they can be well trained also.

Jesus, those replies came in 0-100 real damn quick lmao.

Couple of you suggested a lab, which is a good shout because they are supposed to be one of the most intelligent breeds out there. German shepherd is a good one too.
