Hello everyone, I have had trouble with xbox 1 for along time ever since I got the damn thing, but the past 2 months my controller disconnects even with new batteries in it, it also doesn't allow me to move around at the dashboard, in game its okay, and now my xbox lags like crazy, freezes, and takes forever to start up and shutdown. I have spent along time trying to activate gold membership because mine runs out every month (no big deal right...) well everytime I click to buy it, it says: You can only have 1 of these on the account, does it mean gold memberships like what the heck. Also not to mention the xbox stores being down for a few hours today. There seems to be to much glitches for the system to ever operate right. So I cant buy gold, I have to use smartglass to navigate through the dashboard, and I cant hardly play games because whenever I move around in the game I get a bad blur and freezes. my internet speed is 3.5megs download which is good enough to play xbox, don't say no because I have been for years, but damn, what a waste! any suggestions other than moving over to Pc gaming?

I would 1- Make sure to have the latest Xbox update installed 2-Clear Your System Cache 3- Delete and re-install your profile on your console and 4- check whether your controller has a update via the settings menu(Kinect & Devices>Devices and Accessories>Update Now)

Try all of these.
1. Unplug your console
2. Hold your console power button for 10 seconds
3. Go to network and hit go offline then go online
4. Go to network and go to advanced settings Alternate MAC address then clear and restart
5. Re-sync your controller.
6. Enable Energy saving mode
7. If you know all your account information then delete your profile and re download it.
Clear your cache by
1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.
2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
3. Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.
4. Plug the power cable back into the console.
5. Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
6. Turn on the console using the power button.
I had 3.75Mbps for 8 years and that speed sucks for gaming im sorry to say but it does. you can try and port forward your connection and see if that helps. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Last Try would be resseting console and installing all games, profiles and updates again. Hope you find a solution. you should msg the Xbox Support i think they can go trough some steps with you
