I was told that the disk of the xb360 are only required to download the game onto the xb1 but then the game doesnt require you to use the disk any more. Is this true? Do i have to buy bo2 again or can i borrow a friends disk? Thanks.

Well, BO2 isnt compatible yet. So either way, it wouldnt work.
I assume you just put the disc in and/or download it and play, but I havent dont the BC yet.

BO2 isn't backwards compatible yet..
But you'd put your disk in your Xbox One and then you'd be prompt with a digital download of the full game, But everytime you wanted to play it, you require the disk and then it will boot the downloaded version.
