Yeah, valve change up the ranking system to center around Gold Nova 4. From what I read, they want a perfect bell-curve with GN4 being the peak.

So yeah, everyone is deranking right now.

This is not true at all. The legnth you do not play, doesn't affect your rank. The only time it does is when you do not play matchmaking for a month and you loose your rank all together.

Now, back to the topic of the post. Valve recently changed the ranking system so that the ranks are more spread out and people are actually playing in their ranks.

getting kicked from games is now a lot worse than losing a game. if your teammates kick you u have a very high chance of getting deranked. take this into consideration when kicking someone...

I won a game in GE and downranked to SMFC so that sucked, im just going to stick to 128tick ESEA or CEVO just seems a better experience and i don't have to be anxious about rank + i get to practice with my team(kinda went pro)
