So the guy who built my computer installed windows 10 pro but it is like a trial. I have windows 10 home. Is there anyway to switch them? When and go and try to put in the activation code it pops up with an error every time.
Any help is appreciated.

What error do you get? You could alternatively wipe the boot drive and install Windows for free.

I'd just download a Windows 8.1 ISO, use a product key you can find online and upgrade to Windows 10 for free. It's laughable at how Microsoft will try and charge as much money as they possibly can for 'support'.
