Hello,
a few months ago after a windows 10 update my PC began to do weird stuff. Whenever i turned it on and opened a program, after a few minutes both monitors would go black, as if the PC had powered off, but the PC would remain on. The PC would remain powered on until i rebooted it. I did a clean reinstall of windows 10, still same issue. Now i have booted from a windows 7 disc, deleted all data/memory in both hard drives in all partitions (except the OEM partition), and installed windows 7... now instead of black monitors, i get a blue screen followed by an immediate reboot. I believe i can cross software off the list, as it blue screens with nothing installed except internet explorer. The graphic drivers are up to date, and everything is very cool (40 C). I have replugged in all the wires and stuff on the motherboard/PSU and it still does it, and have blown out all dust.
PC SPECS:
Manufacturer: Me
CPU: Intel i5-4690K 3.5GHz
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 280x Twin Frozr 6GB
8GB HyperX RAM
128GB Kingston SSD
1TB WD Caviar Blue HDD
Mobo: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Series
PSU: Corsair CX600M

Maybe you have a faulty GPU.
Have you tried using IGPU?
