Go into your BIOS and change the boot order so your primary hard disk is first.

Does your Hard Drive/SSD show up in the BIOS if not you might have to replace the drive.

If it is saying that then your Hard Drive (HDD) may have has its last run.

And I think so yes! It shows up on the first option of the boot menu!

Upon boot up, spam F8 or simular to get into the boot menu [you'll see the option at the bottom right] then you should be able to boot straight into your HDD.

Couple of questions - If you have a USB stick plugged in, take it out. Also, was there anything done to the machine to make this happen. How old is it?
