MagnaFlow wrote002 wroteMagnaFlow wroteSlNATRA wrote Wouldn't get any of them for your first car,
You wouldn't be able to handle the car you'd need to be driving for years to be able to drive a car like that, the insurance would go through the roof and you would probably kill yourself In it, no lie.
What are you talking about LMAO. These cars arent even hard to handle. The BRZ only puts out 200hp and thats at the crank. Both of these cars are slow (same car really).
I woudlnt buy these cars becuase they are not work 30k. So many better cars for cheaper and faster and better looking.
But OP get what you want. The forums full of jealous people
200 HP + little weight = fast car. My truck only has 260 HP if I remember right and it's decently fast, but it's also 6k lbs. Sorry not everyone can be you MagnaFlow, the majority of drivers just starting out can't handle a fast car. You know who agrees with me on that? A lot of the people on this forum, your insurance (which is why insurance is so high for a beginner driver on a fast car), the wrecking yard where your car gets towed, the hospital, etc.
Look up acceleration times for the cars. The automatic version of the car is SIXTEEN seconds for a quarter mile. My moms grand prix runs it faster than that. Its not a fast car, I dont care about the power to weight ratio. Everyone who buys these cars immediately upgrade with turbos. They may look fast, but they are not. Also, they handle very well. SO tell me how someone with a slow car that handles well is gonna crash it easier than something like a grandprix or 2003 impala. Its not a special car other than looks, and it has aftermarket potential.
I don't no about you but even doing 70 on the highway is going fast. You crash doing 70 and it is not going to be a good day. Pretty much most cars can do 70 so why does it matter how fast the car goes. I suggest that the OP goes to a dealership and sees the cars in person and sits in each and decides which they like best. Choice what you like and not what some one else likes because at the end of the day, your the one that has to drive it not them. Have fun with the new car

That sounds like a more respectable car. Have you looked into the Ford Fusion AWD at all?

One of my friends have one, it drives nice and looks nice, her only complaint is the seats lol. If you're going to spend 30k+, maybe it'd be worth going to the dealers and test driving all the cars you like the look of and see which one will fit you better.

Or good financial decisions, 7 year warrenty
Yeah if you want to look like a prick, all manufactures who produce something along the lines of this should give up:
Meaning a Picanto, Matiz and whatever else they call cars like that.
The only reason they offer that warranty is because they couldn't get any sales. Also you try getting the repairs under warranty, in most cases you get stories like this:
A OAP bloke around the corner drives a 4 year old Kia 4WD - last month he took it to his local Kia garage for "warranty repairs": leaking sunroof, sticky handbrake and dashboard rattle. None of the faults were covered by their warranty and he ended up with a £400 bill. They blamed him for the sunroof leak - their excuse was that he doesn't take proper care of his car (ie. not garaged), and the drainage pipes blocked (obviously they wouldn't admit to crap design). Rusty rear brake calliper problem was due wear and tear, and due to wear and tear they don't fix dashboard rattles in 4 year old cars either.

Why should they give up a multi mullion dollar company? Don't make a statement without backing it up lol.
ANY manufacturer will try to get away from warranties, be it Ford, Chevy, Subaru, Infinity, Kia, Honda, Toyota, etc. They will try to do what saves them money. At the end of the day, it depends on the reputation of the dealership you bought the vehicle from.
