So to start this rant off, I have some friends who I am very close to but it gets annoying when they bring up a topic that I like when they know nothing about that topic. For example, I am very in tune with the news and what is happening in the real world. This happened quite a bit back (maybe 4 months back) I forgot what the conversation was about, but what I do know is that my friend had no clue what he was talking about.

So he brings up the one detail he knows (after that he was basically silent, as if I was giving him lecture of the entire article) and right off the bat you could tell he didn't know what he was talking about(I'm pretty sure he just saw the title of the article and decided not to read it and go off of that). So when I try to get into the main part of the article, he starts to say some unclear things about it (like when someone is trying to say something they know nothing about). So here I am talking about the article in full depth and he is just there, trying to comprehend what I am saying without knowing one real detail about the article.

This is just something that annoys me, I don't know why people try to start conversations they know nothing about and keep going with it, pretty dumb. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but, it has happened to me quite a few times.

A lot of kids i used to be friends would try to do this all the time. Most of them are car smart and i know alot about gaming and stuff along that line ans they would always try to act like they know what i know and it would piss me off so much.

is it really so bad they are interested in what your saying and just trying to have input so its not a one way conversation?

Why would they want to start a conversation of something they know nothing about? It just doesn't add up, they are setting their selves up for an awkward ending. If I didn't know one thing about what someone was saying I wouldn't enter their conservation.

My PC friends (actual friends, they just played PC instead of console) would try to jump into conversations I would have with other kids at school that I played Gamebattles with on Call of Duty.

First of all, the didn't play on the same console/system as me.
Secondly, they didn't play Call of Duty.

When they would talk about games like Smite and League of Legends, I wouldn't jump in, because I didn't know anything about those games.

I definitely see where your coming from, it is annoying, and I don't see why people act like they know what they're talking about.

It's kinda like when someone pretends to know what you are on about but clearly don't.

"Real world" I wasnt aware there aas a false world

I can relate though, this happens alot with music and fashion. If you know nothing about the topic I would respect you much much more if you came out and said it instead of looking stupid and making me annoyed
