So I have an iPhone 5 that is in lost mode. Is there any possible way to wipe the phone or do anything to get it back to normal? I do not have account information.

If it was your device, you would be able to reset the information needed to log back in or put in the information.

Don't steal. Return the device to whoever or wherever you got it from, and stop.

There is no way around the Apple lock via iCloud.
