Is TH8 really that bad?

Then there's maxing everything, but it can't take longer than TH7, not counting walls which are 500k a piece, and research.

The reason I say it was so bad is because I went out of my way to max every single wall in TH8 which took so long, by the time I went to th9 my gold grab was atleast 250 mill. Took me atleast 4 months to farm all that up(btw gold is the best place to farm for gold and elixer. For Dark elixer make your way up to champions.

Yea, I'm currently Gold II, my max trophies ever was 1700 something. I don't attack much, but I will need to start to practice with Golems and using other attack strategies.

The great thing about TH7 was that Dragons could destroy practically any other TH7 base, not the case with TH8 and that extra Air Defense.

I think at th8 you can hold 3 spells so just bring 3 rage spell once your dragons clear out the outer defenses rage them up in the core ( if the air defenses are in there) then you can 3 star it. And for gowipe all you need to do is get a wide spread on your wizards then make 2 entry points for your golems behind the golems make sure you put your pekkas then your king and you should be good to go.
