About four years ago, I decided to upgrade to a smart phone. I've never bothered to buy one for a long time. I had a choice with choosing an Android and an iPhone. Biggest mistake I have ever chosen.

Battery life: At first the battery life was decent, until time went on and the overall battery life started to decay. Few months with the phone, only could stay on for two maybe three hours. Now, it won't even stay on for an hour or less. Plus, it shuts down at 20-40% battery life. wtf.

Issues: Within the few months of owning an iPhone, I've already started to experience problems. Sometimes typing slows down the phone and sometimes crash and restart apps. Which makes it extremely difficult to write stuff, especially when typing on TTG. (Writing this on note app) Also experienced random crashes, restarts and long ass boot times. More problems than this but lets make this short.

Now, I'm a guy who takes care of my personal belongings. I almost never break or wear out my stuff. I also dislike upgrading tech every next year or so. This phone has only lasted for 3-4 years.
This is my fault for buying this junk. If I would've done research, I could've had a phone fitted for my needs.

A lot of my friends have android and they tell me all the time that I should've gotten one. I finally agree. I'm thinking about upgrading to a Galaxy Note 5. If anyone has this, if it's good tell me. I will be quick to buy it if more people recommend it.
As for what I'm gonna do with my phone, it's basically garbage. Selling it for parts cause I know it won't go for crap.

I never had these problems. Could just be bad luck.

I've owned an iPhone 4s for 3 years, which still worked great, until I bought a 6 a couple days ago.

I have had an iPhone since the 3g. I am at my last straw with it and I have the 6 plus. I think that they updated outdated phones with some type of software that slows the phone down and encourage you to buy their next big product.

I am most likely switching to the S6 edge plus in the next few weeks. The only reason I will consider keeping the iPhone is to facetime my loved ones.

But yes. My phone dies at 30%. If it's cold, the battery depletes so much faster. They make these phones so cheap man.

Shit man sorry to hear youre having a bad experience here, ive had my iphone 5 since 2012 and it doesnt work aswell at it does since I first got it I do admit but its still smooth typing, battery life is still good but I do have lag issues sometimes. I have an iphone 6 now and i enjoy it.

Have you tried to do anything with you provider or apple maybe? Apple might be a hassle but cell phone providers usually can help. Anyway when you get your galaxy or whatever you pick hope its better to you lol

The only time I had issues like youre having is when I jailbroke my iphone 3 and that was.. god like a long time ago

I had my iPhone 4 from the first year it was released until before Christmas, when I got an iPhone 6.

The only thing that happened to it was the screen got shattered, twice. One of which times I had it replaced.

I never had any issues with battery life, or anything else you mentioned.

I've had an iPhone every year since the 4S. Only problem I ever have is cracking my god dam screen.

As for battery life if you don't charge the battery over night etc, mine will last the day.

Apple will most likely do exactly nothing except try to sell you Apple Care now... "Phone issues? Don't have Apple Care? You gotta buy a new phone full price."

Funny you mention it, I'm having the same problem with my battery life as well.

My iPhone 6 randomly shuts down while it has 20-35% of battery left. I assume it's a software issue rather than a hardware problem.

(My phone literally just jumped from 25% to 13% as I'm typing this wat)

I already cracked the screen twice because of how delicate it is.
It's all a huge scheme to steal your money.

I have a Note 5 and the only complaint i have with it is that i only have 32gb of data and it doesn't have sim card accessibility. other than that i love my phone!
I had iPhone since the 3GS and switched from a 4s last year to the galaxy s4

I love my iPhone but one major complaint is the fact that if you screw up something while syncing. You basically have to reset your entire phone and that takes two damn decades to do.

I'm actually in the process of doing this right now because I unplugged my phone on accident while it was syncing and quite frankly I'm pissed that I have to wait 3 hours before my phone is back to normal.
