What are suggestions for the best gaming mics?
Looking for something mainly for lastgen xbox (360) and pc compatible.

Nothing crazy expensive. Maybe $150 and below.
Just looking for something for xbox, skype, music, etc.
(Amazon Preferred)

Any suggestions would be great!

I know some people use this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

and some peeps use this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Personally my set up is a separate pair of headphones and a separate mic. Just so I don't have a mic in my face.

If you need something for xbox and PC, then you could look at turtle beaches.

G930's are amazing headsets, especially for the price. I am using them right now. Perfect for PC, cannot use it for a mic on xbox but you can get sound through it. They released a new model that is a lot more expensive but it's compatible with XB1.

I'd recommend getting the Afterglow's. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I had them and they were a solid headset, and worked as headphones as well. You could hear everything you wanted and they're also wireless. Better then beats i'd say!

Well with the headphone/mic combo there would be no way to talk to ppl on xbox, correct?
Basically something similar to what the turtle beach X12's have (Thats the only TB I have ever used) with both xbox connectivity and audio and microphone jacks.

I dont know that much about mics, but I have Turtle Beach X12's at the moment.
For xbox, I use the cord that comes with it, obv.
And for pc, I use the audio (green) and microphone (pink) to listen and talk on the computer. Something of a wireless mic, would it have the same capabilities?
Maybe something like this
