Tell me about it man, I currently have the iPhone 5 and it's totally shit, the battery is horrible! Been awake for like 4 hours and my phone is on charge for the second time.
Don't recommend anyone getting one!

Wow that's crazy it sounds like they built an android inside of your "iPhone". I can't believe you're experiencing these problems. I still have a iPhone 4 that is working great it has quite a few cracks in it but it still works and can be used but I've owned iPhones for years since the iPhone 3 and I've never had trouble with any of them. I tried giving android the benefit of the doubt and bought a couple. Those two purchases were the biggest mistake in the world. I didn't have either phone for more than 2 weeks and returned them for an iPhone. I would try contacting apple and I'm sure they will run diognostics on your phone to either fix the problems or replace the phone as long as it's still under warranty.

I agree that the iPhone 5 had some battery issues, that became more pronounced as the phone aged. I ended up picking up a charging case, until I upgraded to the 6 plus. Don't give up on Apple! I've been an avid user for 6-7 years
