You could bypass the stock ignition switch and wire your own. I don't see how this is necessary or beneficial though.

Just my preference, instead of having to have to put your key in all the time.

Sounds like you're asking to get robbed dude. I'd hide a switch that kills power to the starter while you're at it. Most DIY push to starts require your key to be in the on position of the ignition anyway.

Those are such a PITA, wait until the battery dies and you can't start your car lol. My friend did this with his '98 F-150 and after not even a year the battery in the fob quit and he couldn't start his truck.
