One of the reasons to wear proper protective clothing all the time.

Bikes can be replaced, you can't.

ride safe brother.

Always the knees, done in my knee too from a crash. Hope you're back up and riding soon, make sure to get some good protection. Always wear mine since that date.

The news only gets worse. A few hours ago my bike was stolen from my property. I informed the police immediately.
Sickening.

Man that sucks, hate that shit man. We shouldn't have to feel like our possessions aren't safe, bike theft is on quite a high at the moment.

Was it forensically tagged?

Exactly. I've worked hard to get what I've got and some low life has taken that away from me. The bike had the steering lock on as well as a disc lock, but they picked the bike up and would have threw it in to the back of a van and drove off so the security on it was useless. As the steering lock was on this means that the insurance should pay out, if it's not found or if it's been completely wrote off. But with my luck there will be something to go against me.

The police said to me that if I want the forensics to go over the bike if it gets found to look for finger prints then I would have to pay £150. So what they basically mean is they do not care who's stolen the bike, they want money for doing their job. Seems unjust to me, horrible.

Ah man that is completely shit Keep checking ebay, gumtree etc for it,
In some cases people will break it down and sell it, so if you can remember your bike bit for bit you might be in luck.

Motorcycle theft is extremely high just now and the Police just dont seem to care.

If something ever happened to the grom, I wouldn't be a happy chap.

I do hope you find it mate

@Andy - Due to the style of the bike it will be highly likely that the would take off the license plate and use the bike for joy riding, riding on fields etc. I am going to keep an eye out on gumtree as its a lot more likely that it would be sold there, or on a buy and sell Facebook page.
If anyhing I hope that the insurance pays me out because I simply can not afford to pay for damage costs, the excess etc. Tough time financially.

Dont you find it funny that insurance companies are always ready to collect your and my money, but when its time to do their job, they dont do it? I hate insurance companies because of how criminal they are. Luckily I am in the USA so its not nearly as bad as the UK. Hope you find your bike bud. When you get it back or a new one, they make GREAT tracking devices that are small and very hard to find for bikes and cars. Mine and my sisters car both got one this summer for I think $200 a piece, but it was a gift from our parents.

@MagnaFlow - Insurance companies do take the Micky, simply because they do not want to pay out even though we pay lots of money for that reason !
& thank you for your words, a tracker may be a good idea.
