First thing I want to say, being a vegan like actively participating in the life of a vegan is not a "diet" this isnt some dude bro beach body type of 60 day diet garbage where you eat 22 grapes and a cup of almond milk and youre good. Its a lifestlye not a dude bro diet.
Secondly, I cant stand when I hear omnivores say things like "if I need to lose weight I need to eat less" NO no no no no NO stop.. in saying that you begin the mindset of restricting yourself which in turn could very well give off the impression of an eating disorder, depriving your body of what it needs is not good and I dont think ANY omnivore who restricts themselves should EVER try and shit on a vegan. If you want to effectively lose weight all you need to do is eat properly and burn more calories than you intake WHILE NOT STARVING YOURSELF.. I never understood calorie counting and ohh well this has 22g of this and 12g of this sooo I cant eat it. Use common sense, if its complete garbage then try and stay away but if its something mild EAT IT, its good to give youself treats from time to time and just because you had one cookie doesnt mean youre going to die. We have these people who try and engrave this perfect image in our minds all the time with magazine covers, news, media, HOLLYWOOD and its all bullshit.. Also not to mention that we give our youth all of these terrible stimulating drugs to keep them calmed down, or to improve their performance in class. If a kid is bored in class did you ever just think they arent interested of the teacher is boring as ****? You dont need to drug up kids with all these terrible things.. Anyway, it really makes me sad seeing the youth starve themselves to get thigh gaps and to get these insanely ripped bodies from dehydrating themselves and pumping their body with terrible substances. Idk man, if you want to get lean dont starve yourself and dont let Hollywood give off this perception of what you have to be
To sum it up, dont starve yourself, dont shit on vegans if you cant do it effectively, be cool
also news flash meat isnt the only thing that contains protein (im not here to argue just thought I would throw that in because everyone seems to love asking)

You'd be surprised at how much extra food you eat. Ideally you should only eat what you burn off during the day. An Olympic swimmer needs more food than a person who works at an office. Eating less CAN help you lose weight, but it depends on how much you ate to begin with.
You also need to understand how our bodies work. Humans where never meant to eat 3 big meals, we where meant to eat a handful of nuts or something ever half hour. Our bodies received small amounts of nutrients very often, so it never needed to store food. By only eating 3 big meals, you body will actually store some of it as fat to hold you over until the next meal.

Yeah, let's not give them anything so they don't learn a damn thing in school and are a hindrance to those of us that don't have that problem, great idea. That's like saying giving Novocaine to people getting a root canal is a bad idea. Really?

Theres a line between giving someone 1-2 doses of a pain killer and giving children ages 12 and up speed to stay focused in class.
Giving a kid these drugs for long terms such as 6-8 years is ridiculous and not needed, giving a teen or kid novacaine for a root canal is totally fine because its needed.
