I just want to check up with you guys on these parts, the PSU is a lot but I am planning on Overclocking the i5-6600. Not sure if there is a better motherboard than what I have selected around that price range, so if there is please swap it out, same goes with PSU. I want to maintain the red and black color scheme that I have thus far, but it is no big deal if I can't. On the ram wasn't sure if I wanted to go with 1x8gb or 2x4gb, but another person told me the one I have selected, because it was a bit cheaper. I am maxed out on budget, maybe ~$20 give or take if needed.

Note: I am not getting a SSD right now, I will be getting a 250gb SSD in the near future, so please don't add one to the build. Thanks!

As far as I know you can't overclock the 6600 non K. I just built you one about the same price.

CPU can be overclocked, PSU is very reliable.

All the non-k Skylake processors can be overclocked. Here is a better build I have came up with, please give me feedback on it. Also, my friend has the disc for windows 7 so I am going to need an optical drive to install it, since I don't have any USBs laying around that I could use. So I am going to keep the case I have selected and grab a $20 optical drive instead of getting a USB and installing windows on it.

This just takes me (whoever clicks it) to their custom part list, wrong link man.

Ordering parts today and it would be great if I could get more feedback, thanks!

it was up to OP, he chose the 390 so I assume he did some research and decided that was the best card for him.
Also, 970 isn't better as they perform about the same, in some scenarios the 970 is better and in some the 390 is..

true but the 970 uses alot less power at low and high load and it gives better fps on the more demanding games

What, yes it uses less power but it doesn't achieve better FPS in demanding games, the 390 is actually better in terms of performance especially at higher resolutions.
