Hello so recently I decided to start programming in Javascript so that I could create Minecraft plugins ect. But I have a huge problem, I read something for example,

var today = new Date();
var hourNow = today.getHours();
var greeting;

if (hourNow > 18) {
greeting = 'Good evening!';
}else if (hourNow > 12) {
greeting = 'Good afternoon!';
}else if (hourNow > 0) {
greeting = 'Good morning!';
}

document.write('<h1>' + greeting + '</h1>');

but then not 5 second later I forget what I read. Is there anything that anyone can suggest that might help me remember what I read

The fact that you don't remember what you read, does not sound like a programming problem. You should go get that checked by a medical professional.

Also, Minecraft is written in Java, not Javascript. There is a major difference.

I can see where you're going with this.

First of all, you need to understand how programming works. For example, you need to understand what is 'var' or 'function' code source.

You should take your own time to understand how every coding part works and how it does next.

Hope this helps!
