so guys, i own a 2004 ford ranger xlt 2wd, nothing special. but on Friday when i was leaving work and was driving to school, my truck dies , and i had no idea what has happen. so i towed it back to my house, and started to work on it, changed the fuel pump bc it wasnt getting any pressure, the coil pack was cracked i changed that, then the crank position sensor was bad also, i changed all the parts that i thought needed to be changed and guess what it still WONT start. just cranks ): well guys if yall have any idea comment below
p.s spark plugs are brand new less then 15k on then

Start with cheap fixes lol. Look at the battery and alternator.
Does it have enough gas? :trollin:

well i have changed all those today, now looking at it we are thinking its either the computer or aftermarket alarm that someone put in before i brought it. i have no idea how to remove the alarm or bypass it

Pull the ECU out and look for burnt areas. Could be a problem with your air fuel. Check all that. If all else fails take it for a compression test I suppose.
On the bright side; the junkyards are loaded with those bad boys.

I will pull the ecu today I uninstalled the after market alarm , and now I get power to my coil pack. So next is to look for burnt areas and compression test?

Yes .?? Is that weird . But it still doesn't start. So I'm going for ecu rn
If you want, pull it apart and post some good, close up pictures of it before you buy another one. We might be able to help determine if it's fried.

Oddly enough check your MAF sensor, it may cause the car to read incorrectly, also wires maybe your next go. You already got the fuel pump and if its just cranking maybe bleed the pump some more? Just a thought
