I don't play much CoD so forgive me if I have this incorrect, but doesn't the XP glitch involve network stressing / account manipulation? If that's the case, I can see why he got a permanent ban from Xbox LIVE. XBLPET has been cracking down on booters and account exploitation, they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to that stuff.

100% wasnt from doing the custom xp lobbys, you cant get a full account ban for that only banned from their game which is easily bypassed by making a second account.


but yeah he would not have gotten an account perma ban for doing that there will be another reason.

To everyone that keeps saying you can't get banned from xbl permanently for doing a glitcj, yes you can, activision reports to microsoft if you glitched on the game severely and they can decide if they want to ban you can or not. I personally was perma band from xbl on an account during bo1 days, and when i read the message of why i was banned ,it said exploiting in game glitches, and bo1 was the only game i played at the time.

Well it probably wasn't his first offense i think it goes 1 week ban, 1 month ban, perma ban
