I've been inactive for a while, and what better way to come back than to tell you guys why I left in the first place!
First off, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I've been on TheTechGame for FOUR years, and for most of that time, I've been an active, helpful member of the community. I at one point had one of the most successful modded lobby posts for PS3 that I've ever seen on this site. With over 150+ pages of replies, vouches, and things of that nature. Before that, I had a successful Xbox 360 modded lobby service. But that's beside the point. The issue that I'd like to bring up, is what this site has come to. When I joined 4 years ago, things were quite different. Although "leaching" was around, the amount of it is incomparable to what it has turned into today. You see all these new accounts with two posts and nothing on their profile, and they just BEG for lobbies and freebies. It's insane. I had made the mistake of putting my skype on the threads as it was quicker for me to reply to people. I kid you not, I was getting 400-500 messages a day. All from people who wanted something and wanted it on their time and for free. Then, when you didn't give it to them when THEY wanted it, they went on your thread and posted "fake" or something along those lines. I'm sorry if this upsets any of the staff on TTG. But can you guys do something? I'd love to reopen my mod shop.. But something has got to be done about all of these kids just spamming the PS3 and 360 modded lobby forums.

Don't understand the concept of this message probably because I'm tired but oh well, are you trying to say your Skype is being spammed or your TTG inbox is being spammed?
If your Skype is being spammed, make a new one and don't post it to the public and if your inbox is getting spammed either on the post say don't spam my inbox for freebies or just ignore the spam

The post of the thread although not stated clearly, was why it's almost an inconvenience to have a mod shop on this site. As for your question, my TTG inbox is full along with my old skype, yes I did create a new skype.

That's just the internet for you. I hear what you're saying and I understand. However if you can't filter out the idiots, you probably aren't cut out to offer a service as this is just the normal. Maybe figure out a good system that can discourage the idiots from being annoying.

I joined this site in the prime of modding. I started out as a leech, and ended up hosting lobbies myself. But I got bored. I'm at a point where I'd rather play a fair competitive game than screw around in a modded one. And that seems to be where most people are these days.
TTG's modding aspect has tanked dramatically but that's because the modding community in general is dying. TTG shouldn't go down with modding and I like that it is evolving with the direction gaming is moving.

tl;dr modding in my opinion is going downhill because of nextgen, they are just unstoppable and unmoddable.

I mean what did you expect, you posted your skype.
360/ps3 is dying and next gen modding is in a cul-de-sac

Modding hasn't gone to shit, it's just a thing of the past...
95% of everyone who does it now only cares about making money.
That's why it died.
