Some people do it for the badge, others just give back to the deserving then achieve the badge & well spent time.

I haven't done a giveaway in a while tbh, I only gift members who deserve/ earned it.

I see where you're coming off from. But I see it like this. If you're gifting a member, you're giving something back to the community and the person. The money goes towards the site, the gold does towards the person. Win win.
I gift for various reasons. I don't just gift random people. I gift people who I seem worthy and have potential on this site. Or I gift people who have done soo much for this community. Either way I'm always satisfied to put a smile on someone's face.
One thing I hate is when they post that on your Topic, I mean thanks for saying that to me, but thanking the topic means just as much as what you posted. If you feel like you need to tell me something just pm me, you know?

GSW wrote Ive done quite a few Gold Give aways these past few months. And every time i get the same post. If you do give aways also you will probably get the same . "Im not entering but thanks for giving back to the Community/TTG". How many of you are actually giving back? For me i dont class it as giving back. Ive only had help a few times by the same members (They know who they are). And to say thanks i gift gold to a member (s) they suggest deserves it. So the question is are you giving back or are you trying to achieve the badges.
I was just wondering.
One of the reasons why I stopped doing Gold giveaways, the unnecessary post of 'Im not entering but thanks for giving back to the Community/TTG'
The only time I gifted someone was when they deserved it.
I didnt do it for the badge as you can tell with me and some members with Gold Gifter + badge
