TTG-Cashew wrote rice will only work sometimes if there is still water in the phone. I work for a phone repair shop. The reason the phone is not turning on is cus when the water drys it causes this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]how much will it cost for that
thus shorting out the phone. You could take it to a phone repair shop that will run it threw a ultrasonic cleaner. That will have a good chance of bringing the phone back to life!

Lesson Learned:
1. Do not get an expensive phone if you're not careful.
2. Do not modify software/hardware if you're not prepared for the consequences. (This consequence being not software related but might come back to bite you.
IN ALL SERIOUSNESS THOUGH. RICE FIRST. ULTRASONIC SECOND. NEW PHONE THIRD.
No other stuff to talk about until you try those things man

Keep it in there for couple of days! Boot it into recovery mode, connect to itunes, restore device and update / re download ios! Jailbrake gone.
