Just something I would like to ask you guys, do you believe in dead relatives looking down on you?
What I mean is, I have never really won the lottery, regardless of how many times I entered a lottery I would never win. But when one of my family members passed away I have since been winning, only in small amounts but it's still better than nothing.
Do you believe that they can have an impact on your future? Or somewhat give you 'good luck'?

No. I don't believe that anything happens after we die because there is no evidence to support that belief.
Eyewitness testimony or even first hand testimony is not reliable as scientific evidence, that's why it's not held highly in courts of law.
We are not good at examining our own reality and our own experiences.
Blindsight, Anosognosia, and the Placebo/Nocebo effects prove this beyond a doubt.
Our energy is dispersed back into the environment, our minds are a construct of our brains, so without the brain we can no longer exist in a thinking and feeling form.
Which I feel is a much more beautiful outcome, as opposed to having your ancestors watching what you are doing all of the time.
An afterlife diminishes the importance of life on Earth. What's the point in enjoying your time on this planet if you are going to go to a place of eternal bliss and happiness afterwards anyway?

The literal "Looking down on me" I don't believe, I don't believe that they are up in the sky looking over there balcony seeing everything I'm doing at every second of the day.
Although I believe there spirit to be pondering around, checking up and just taking care of you. Sort of like a guardian angel but in a less physical sense. I don't know.. that's just what I believe.
